Idk i may just be a bit biased but i find Japanese tend to be the best at the manga type releases, the Koreans dominate the webtoon format and have good manhwa, but the Chinese are just trailing. regardless this is awesome, it seems EG finds only the best to release

If that’s what you think, i’m not sure of what some of i’ve read is even Chinese(I’ve read ALOT), but maybe because things are limited there…?

It’s true that most of the comics out there are from Japan. But in my country after the manga it’s manhau that have quite a lot out in the comics’ market, especially the manhua which adapted from the novel of Chinese famous novelists ex. Jin Yong, Gu long (their novels are kind of historical and martial arts which concern about the internal energy). Actually, since I’ve read the comics for along time, I consider the manhua name ‘The Ravages of Time’ to be one of the best comics I’ve ever read (but this is just my own opinion others might disagree but that’s okay ^-^).

    thanks for the new project!

but yea…don’t know what it is with manhuas but they just love introducing like a 100 characters in the first chapter for so many of their series’ >.<

Thanks! However I would not call the ruler of Qing “emperor” (By formality, Zhou’s ruler can considered the emperor. Technically, the term “emperor” for China started after the Qing ruler reunited China)

I agree with you when you state that the Qin emperor should be considered as the first emperor (not to be counfused with the Qing empire). The reason why we decided to call the Zhou’s ruler emperor was because Zhou was technically a dynasty so beyong that of a simple kingdom so very close to the qualification of an empire. We had to in a way differentiate with the other 7 kingdoms. Here it isn’t the chinese meaning of an emperor (皇) but rather the western one that is applied. I agree it can be inapproriate but hope you can look past this.
