Green Blood. This manga tells the tale of two immigrant brothers trying to eke out an existence in New York's gang-ridden Five Points district, a place dubbed "the worst slum in the world." Set at the end of the American Civil War against a backdrop of corruption, prostitution and murder, the story follows Luke Burns, a hard-working idealist, and his shadowy older brother, Brad Burns, who secretly works as a hit man for one of the gangs his younger brother despises.
